Actually I was quite interested in Dual Monitors with XFree86 but I dont think it can be done - other than by using a Mono [old fashioned text or 1 bit graphics] driver - which really is not much better than having a serial terminal beside your PC.

NT 4 actually can run dual monitors but only by using two Matrox cards and running their NT video drivers.
