Island Real-Time Book Viewer (Java Version)

The Java Applet may take a minute to load...

  • When the applet has loaded, it will appear in a separate window.
  • Type a stock symbol in the applet's text area and press enter.
  • When the applet connects, you will see two columns.
  • The column on the left shows buy orders, the column on the right shows sell orders.
  • For each order, the number of shares available and the limit price are displayed.
  • The applet displays the top 15 orders on each side of the market.
  • Clicking on an order brings up a new window showing the details of the selected order.
  • You can only have one detail window open at a time.
  • The applet display is live, any changes are immediately updated in real-time.
